It was a fun, and crazy crowded day as San Diego invaded Midtown for Sacramento Beer Week. Long lines deterred us from a few places, but were able to grab a few seats at Goldfield’s Trading Post and sip Ballast Point brews. A clear stand out to me was Ballast Point’s Grapefruit Sculpin – an IPA with grapefruit rind has the tart freshness of grapefruit that complements Ballast Point’s hoppy IPA. I felt like I was tasting summer!
