I spent my Sunday morning beneath the Bright Underbelly mural at the Sacramento Central Farmer’s Market.
This busy farm fresh showcase hosts over 120 vendors with everything from fresh fruits and vegetables to cheese, grass-fed beef, and gorgeous fresh-cut flowers. This is a favorite family Sunday ritual. We pick our favorites of the day and plan our weeks dining ideas. California Farmer’s Markets are where I am sure to find the safest, freshest, tastiest fruits and vegetables that are grown in California by California farmers!
I was feeling particularly inspired today after two of yesterday’s events that took place right here in Sacramento. The Deschute’s Street Pub and the inaugural Le Diner en Blanc that overnight, became one of Sacramento’s newest shining stars. These events along with our brand-spanking-new, gorgeous, and state of the art Golden 1 Center makes me feel energized and Sacramento proud!
For now, I will take my bounty and my beautiful long-stemmed sunflowers that I purchased from the Neve Brothers-Petaluma, and enjoy my Sunday in Sacramento.
