What do you get when you combine a beautiful day, a new venue, and fabulous craft beer? The 2017 Capitol Beer Fest!
We spent our Sunday sipping and bringing Sacramento Beer Week to a close. We loved the new venue at The Railyards and were thankful for the nice breeze that blew through the 5th Street Bridge. I think we can all agree on what a beautiful weekend we had here in Sacramento. With over 125 breweries pouring their best, 20+ Food Trucks serving up tasty treats, and over 20 unique vendors bringing their goods front and center, the Capitol Beerfest was truly a success! We arrived at 12 noon to take advantage of the VIP early entrance. Trust me…it’s a must! We snapped photos, sipped beer, and chatted with our brewer friends before the crowd spilled in at 1 o’clock. Then we were off to Auburn to enjoy two of our favorite breweries, Moonraker & Knee Deep and bask in the beautiful March sunshine.
This was a great Sacramento Beer Week with the two bookend events, The Brewers Showcase and Capitol Beer Fest kicking off, and closing a week of beer-related fun.
We so enjoyed our visit to Moonraker Brewing and Knee Deep Brewing. The sun was out, the beer was good, and the company great! I wish for more great days like this one!
