The scenic road to the Russian River. We had fun in Guerneville along the Russian River with stops at Safari West in Santa Rosa Ca., Shopping in Healdsburg Ca., and Stumptown Brewing in Guerneville Ca.
Our riverfront home offered perfect views of the Russian River, beautiful expansive decks, and cozy comfort inside while it rained. Next up… Petaluma! One of my favorite places to visit!

Spring Break fun in Mendocino! From the lush greenery to the breathtaking ocean views, every corner is a picture perfect moment waiting to happen. Even though we had a lot of rain, we were able to soak in a few rays of sunshine. We had a very rain soaked walk to the Point Cabrillo Light Station! The town of Mendocino proved charming, the Mendocino Botanical Gardens beautiful, Fort Bragg was a good adventure, and games on our lawn with a glass of champagne was the best!

As Easter approaches, I find myself reflecting on the beauty of this season—a time of rebirth, renewal, and the joy of being surrounded by family.🌷 Beyond the traditional symbols of Easter lies something even more profound—the opportunity to come together with family. For me, Easter is cherished moments spent around the table, sharing laughter, stories, and, of course, delicious food. This Easter we are gathering with family, and bonds are strengthened through shared traditions and memories. Simple pleasures serve as a reminder of the innocence and wonder that permeate this special day. Yet, amidst the festivities, it’s important to pause and reflect on the deeper meaning of Easter—the celebration of hope, faith, and love. It’s a time to embrace the beauty of forgiveness and redemption, and to be grateful for the blessings that surround us. Cherish each moment and hold onto the memories we create together. For in the end, it’s not the grandeur of the celebrations that matter most, but the love and connection we share with one another. May this Easter be filled with love, laughter, and cherished moments with family. 🐣🌸

Looking for a great appetizer to add to your Easter Brunch? Look no further! I love this recipe for Deviled Eggs with a twist - infused with the delicate flavors of dill and smoked trout.⁠

Ingredients:⁠
⁠
6 hard-boiled eggs⁠
2 oz smoked trout, pulled into small strips or chunks⁠
2 tbsp mayonnaise⁠
1 tsp Dijon mustard⁠
1 tsp fresh dill, chopped⁠
Salt and pepper, to taste⁠
Dill sprigs, and trout for garnish⁠

Instructions:⁠

Start by carefully halving the hard-boiled eggs lengthwise and gently removing the yolks. Place the yolks in a bowl and set the whites aside.⁠

To the bowl of yolks, add the mayonnaise, Dijon mustard, and fresh dill. Season with salt and pepper to taste. Mix until well combined and creamy.⁠

Spoon or pipe the yolk mixture back into the egg white halves, evenly distributing the filling. Garnish each deviled egg with a piece of the trout and small sprig of fresh dill.⁠
