Nothing like a Mom’s getaway to Napa! No sooner had we dropped the kids off at school, we were off to Napa for a little Sparkling Wine fix at Mumm Napa, sight-seeing, and tasty treats! Mumm Napa offers beautiful table service outside on the patio or in the tasting salon. With stunning views of Rutherford vineyards, Mumm is truly a place to sit and enjoy good company and beautiful sparkling wines!
Open Daily 10 am to 6 pm. Pricing is $25 – $35. Reservations are recommended but not necessary. I would do so if you have a group six or larger.
We couldn’t help but soak up the sun with a walk around the French Laundry Culinary Gardens. This gorgeous garden is FREE to walk around and is located at 6639 Washington St. in Yountville California. Spring has sprung and new delightful herbs, lettuces, and beautiful seasonal produce are just beginning to peek out and become something spectacular that will be placed on Chef Keller’s French Laundry plates.
Yountville was all abuzz with Yountville LIVE starting that evening. This SOLD OUT event is Yountville Live’s premier event giving guests a 1-day taste of the event’s epic food, wine and music pairings.
A trip to Yountville is not complete with out a visit to Chef Thomas Keller’s Bouchon Bakery.
Known for its artisanal breads and traditional French desserts, Bouchon offers Macaroons to-die-for, chocolate eclairs that dazzle your taste buds, and the Bouchon Oh Oh – a take on the Hostess Ho-Ho but one gazillion times better!
